Honeyed Pumpkin Pie

It comes out of the oven smelling really good, and the top will be a perfect orange color. Even people that don't like honey, will like this pie, I know I've tested on alot of people through the years,"


Unbaked 9" pie shell (deep pan)
2 C pumpkin (I use fresh & drain good)
1/2 tsp. Ginger
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
1 tsp. Salt
4 eggs, slighty beaten
1 C Honey
1/2 C Milk
1/2 C Heavy Cream
1 tsp. Vanilla


In Large bowl blend together pumpkin, ginger, cinnamon and salt.
wisk in eggs, honey, milk, cream, vanilla.(the spices you can do less or more,depends on your taste) Pour into pie shell.
Bake at 400 degrees, for 50-55 min. Insert knife, to check for doneness, it should come out clean about 1" from the edge.
Serve with some homemade whipped cream.
