Chess Pie

Traditional Chess Pie"
Ingredients
1 cup of granulated sugar
½ cup of brown sugar
1 stick of melted butter
3 eggs
1 tbsp of white cornmeal (not cornmeal mix)
1 tbsp white vinegar
1 tsp vanilla
1 9” unbaked pie crust .
Instructions
Combine sugars and cornmeal. Add melted butter and stir until fully combined. Add eggs and stir until mixture is smooth (do not use an electric mixer). Finally, add the vinegar – stir in completely before adding the vanilla.
Pour into piecrust and bake for one hour at 350 degrees.
Let pie set for an hour before serving
