Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie
User Submitted Recipe
“
This is not your ordinary pecan pie. The flavors are wonderful. A hint of bourbon gives this pie a rustic flavor. I have served this pie many times. I am not a pecan lover however this one time I make an exception. Enjoy and many Thanksgiving Blessings!"
Ingredients
3 Tablespoons butter melted,
3 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 Tablespoons Flour
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
3/4 cup of Dark Corn Syrup
2 Tablespoons of Bourbon Liquor
1 1/2 Cups Chopped Pecans
3/4 cups mini chocolate chips
1 (9 in deep dish) unbaked pie shell
Instructions
Preheat oven 350 degrees
Melt butter in saucepan, while butter is melting add beaten eggs to a medium size bowl. Stir in brown sugar, flour, vanilla extract, corn syrup and bourbon until well combined. Add butter when just melted.
