Pecan Pie

Bourbon Surprise Pie
A Holiday treat for pie lovers!!"


1 9 in. deep pie shell
3 eggs
1/3 cup butter (melted)
2/3 cup sugar
1 cup dark syrup
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1-1/2 cup pecans
3 Tbs. bourbon
1 Tbs. all-purpose flour


Pre heat oven to 350 degrees.
Mix sugar, syrup, eggs, butter, vanilla, bourbon, and flour in mixer until smooth. Trim pie crust with foil to protect crust edge for approx. 25 mins. Remove foil and cook another 20-22 minutes until you can insert a knife and it comes out clean.
Serve with ice cream and hold on, you are about to experience a taste explosion.
