Mary-Margaret's Chocolate Chip Cookies
User Submitted Recipe
“
I got this recipe from my mother, who got it from her friend. I made some changes and then named the cookies with my name and her name. They are a delicious cookie that stays fairly soft."
Ingredients
4 1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
2 (3 1/2 ounce) packages vanilla pudding
4 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 cups walnuts, chopped
3 cups shredded coconut
1 (12 ounce) bag chocolate chips
1 (6 ounce) bag butterscotch chips
Instructions
Combine flour, soda and salt - Set aside. In large bowl combine butter, both sugars and pudding. Blend until smooth and creamy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Gradually add flour mixture. Stir in chips, nuts and coconut. Drop by tablespoon on to cookie sheet, bake at 375 for 15-20 minutes. I sift my flour because it seems to make for better blending, but it isn't necessary.
