These cookies are the talk of the town and will delight everyone. They are a soft cake like cookie and full of flavor and can be frozen for unexpected guests."
Ingredients
2 eggs
2 cups Brown sugar
1 cup molasses
1 cup Soft butter
1 cup Buttermilk
1 cup Raisins
Dry Ingredients
5 1/2 cup Unbleached flour
2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. pumpkin spice
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
Instructions
Mix eggs, brown sugar, molasses and butter, then add buttermilk and mix. Add the dry ingredients a little at a time and mix. Add raisins and walnuts if desired. Drop by spoonful on cookie sheet. Sprinkle each cookie with brown sugar and bake at 350 for 10-15 mins. Enjoy!
