Pumpkin Bars

Something other than pumpkin pie. Enjoy!"

Ingredients

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
5 tablespoons butter
3 large eggs
2 cups pumpkin puree
1 cup grated carrot

cream cheese topping:
8 ounces softened cream cheese
1/2 cup sugar


Instructions

Mix flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and baking powder in a bowl and set aside.
In a separate bowl, beat sugars and butter until fluffy, then add eggs mixing them in one at a time. Thoroughly mix in pumpkin and carrots, then add in the dry mixture and mix until smooth.
Preheat oven to 350° F and spread mixture into a greased 10x13 dish.
Spread the cream cheese topping on top and bake for 45 minutes.
