Karen's Nutty Fudge

Rich and filled with nuts!"


6 c. sugar
3 sticks unsalted butter
1 large can Evaporated Milk
2 packages semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 large jar Marshmallow Creme
2 t. vanilla
2 c. pecans, chopped [ NOT pieces ]
1 c. walnuts, chopped
1 c. cashews, chopped


Mix sugar, butter, and evaporated milk into a large heavy pot.
Bring this to a rolling boil.
* Start the countdown once you have lowered the heat*
Lower the heat, and let it continue to softly bubble for 10 minutes, stirring often. At the end of the 10 minutes, remove it from all heat, and stir in the chocolate chips, marshmallow creme, nuts, and vanilla.
Beat this by hand, using a wooden spoon.
Pour immediately into a buttered pan and let cool. Cover and refrigerate.
