Great candy to make for friends at holiday time as gifts."
Ingredients
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 1/4 cup pecans
1 tsp real vanilla
Instructions
Mix sugars, baking soda. Add buttermilk & cook to soft ball stage (a drop in cold water will form a soft ball). Add pecans & beat slightly. Cool. Drop from spoon onto wax paper.
Makes approx 14 pralines
