Polish Fruit Cake

Ingredients

1 c chopped prunes
1 c chopped dates
1 c raisins
1 t. orange zest
3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c strong tea
1/2 c kahlua
1-1/2 c self rising flour
1 egg 1/2 cup chopped walnuts


Instructions

Dissolve sugar in hot tea, add kahlua. Pour over first 4 ingredients to cover. Let stand overnight at room temp. Then add balance of ingredients and mix well. Put into well greased loaf pan. Bake at 300 degrees for 90 minutes. Dust with powdered sugar.
