Heavenly Apricot Bars


1 3/4 cups flour
2/3 cup powdered
1/4 cup cornstarch
1/2 tsp salt
1/2tsp cinnamon
1 cup butter
1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 1/2 cups apricot preserves


Preheat oven to 350.line a 9x13 pan with foil leaving a 1" overhang. butter foil. in a food processer blend flour, powered sugar cornstarch salt ,cinnamon. add butter process till mixture clumps together. Press onto bottom of pan. Bake about 25 minutes. Prepare topping.
sprinkle 1/2 cups pecans over crust. drop apricot preserves on top of crust. sprinkle topping over bake 25 to 30 minutes. when cool lift foil out of pan and cut.
Topping: combine 3/4 cup flour and 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar. cut in 1/2 cup butter. add 1 cup flaked coconut and 1 cup chopped pecans.
