Ingredients

Cake:
2 C Sugar
1/2 C Crisco Shortening
2 Eggs
4 Apples (peeled and chopped)
1/2 t Salt
2 C Flour
2 t Baking Soda
1 t Nutmeg
1 t Cinnamon
Sauce:
1/2 C Butter
1 C Cream
1 C Sugar
2 t Vanilla

Instructions

Cream sugar and shortening, add eggs and rest of ingredients. Bake in a 9x13 cake pan at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Place sauce ingredients in pan on stove top and blend together...serve with warm sauce spooned over each piece. Guaranteed to please!
