Fruit Cocktail Cake

Ingredients

CAKE
1 1/2 c sugar
2 c flour
2 t baking soda
2 eggs
1 can fruit cocktail
TOPPING
1 c brown sugar
1 c coconut
1/2 c chopped pecans
SAUCE
1 stick butter
1 t vanilla
3/4 c sugar
1/2 c milk


Instructions

Mix all cake ingredients together in a large bowl including juice from fruit cocktail. Pour into 13 x 9 greased pan. Mix brown sugar, coconut and nuts and then sprinkle over batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes. While cake is hot, melt butter, vanilla, sugar, and milk together, boil 1 minute and then pour over cake.
