Spiced Apple Cider Dumplings

A simple and tasty way to share the wholesome flavor or fresh apples. Goes great with homemade vanilla ice cream!"


4 Granny Smith Apples, Peeled, Cored and Quartered

2 Cans of refrigerated crescent rolls

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 packed brown sugar

1 TB Cinnamon

1 stick butter, sliced

1 cup Spiced Apple Cider


Preheat oven to 350.
Mix sugars and cinnamon in a zip-top bag. Put apples into bag and shake to coat. Wrap each apple piece n 1 crescent roll and place in to a 13X9 baking pan. Sprinkle remaining sugar mixture over top of apples and place sliced butter evenly over top. Pour cider into side of pan. Bake for 30-45 minutes or until the crescent rolls are browned and liquid is thickened and bubbly. Serve warm.
