Cocoa Spice Cake

Ingredients

1 ¼ Cup Sugar
½ Cup Shortening
1 ½ Cup Flour
1 Cup Buttermilk
1 Egg
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
4 Tablespoons Cocoa
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon vanilla


Instructions

Preheat oven to 350°
Cream sugar and shortening. Sift all dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture, alternating with buttermilk. Add vanilla last.
Bake in a 6 X 12 pan for around 20 minutes.
