Simple Apple Crostata
User Submitted Recipe
“
Slightly tart, slightly sweet dessert for tea time."
Ingredients
2-3 medium size granny smith apples
1 ready made roll up pie crust
cinnamon and sugar for coating apple slices
small jar orange marmalade (can use sugar free as well)
Instructions
Peel and core apples, slice like you would for pie. Place in bowl and sprinkle some cinnamon and sugar just to coat apples. Then mix in the marmalade into the apples. Lay your pie crust onto a cookie sheet, pour your apples onto the center of the pie crust, and fold over the edges of the pie crust towards the center. Bake in a 350 degree oven for about 40 minutes or until your apples are tender and crust is nice and brown.
