Double Berry Pie

Easy but delicious fresh or frozen fruit pie"


1 - Double crust pie crust - can use frozen deep dish
2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
2 cups fresh or frozen blackberries
1 cup granulated sugar
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons of melted butter
1/4 cup granulated sugar


Prepare bottom crust and place in 9" deep dish pie crust. Combine 1 cup sugar and flour in a large mixing bowl. Add all berries to flour mixture and toss to coat all berries. Pour all berry and sugar/flour mixture into prepared unbaked crust. Place crust on top. Be sure to put slits in pie crust to vent. Brush top crust with melted butter and sprinkle with 1/4 cup of sugar.

Bake at 350 for 50 to 60 minutes. (Until center is bubbly)
