Surprise Dessert SaladUser Submitted Recipe
1 can pear halves
1 3 ounce package cream cheese
3 tablespoons chopped pecans
1 3 ounce package black cherry jello
Prepare jello according to directions.
Pour a small amount into bottom of a shallow 8x8 dish and chill.
Soften cream cheese and add 2 tablespoons pear juice and pecans.
Drain pear halves and stuff the centers with cheese mixture.
Arrange by pressing pears into chilled jello
(Do not let jello get too firm).
Cover with remaining jello and chill.
