Sherri's Yellow Cake

A rich, moist yellow cake with tastes of cherry"

Ingredients

Cake:
1 Duncan Hines French vanilla cake mix
3 ounce package of cherry Jello

Fluffy Frosting:
1 envelope Dream Whip
1 box instant French vanilla pudding mix
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/1/3 -1 1/2 cups cold milk


Instructions

Bake cake as directed.
While cake bakes, dissolve jello in 3/4 cup water.
Add 1/2 cup cool water to jello. Let baked cake rest 20-25 minutes. Fork holes into the cake and pour or spoon jello over the cake.
Refrigerate until set.
Apply Fluffy Frosting.
Mix all frosting ingredients and beat 8 minutes. Frost cake and place in refrigerator.
