A classic blonde brownie with a kick!"
Ingredients
1 cup of flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoon ancho chili powder
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup butter, melted
3/4 cup packed light brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
3 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 8-inch square baking pan. Combine and whisk all dry ingredients and set aside. In your Cuisinart Stand Mixer, combine butter and brown sugar then egg and vanilla. Next add dry ingredients. Don't overmix! Stir in nuts and chocolate. Spread in pan and bake for 25 to 30 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
