Best 4vU Blond Brownies

This is a reduced calorie recipe that fools them all. "

Ingredients






1 Cup all-purpose flour
1 Cup whole wheat flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 Cup sugar
1 Cup Splenda
1/4 Cup molasses
1 stick margarine
2 Tablespoons shortening
2 teaspoons vanilla
1 Cup chopped nuts ( we use pecans )






Instructions

1- Sift together the following:
1 Cup all-purpose flour
1 Cup whole wheat flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon salt
2- In another bowl mix the following till smooth.
1 Cup sugar
1 Cup Splenda
1/4 Cup molasses
1 stick margarine
2 Tablespoons shortening
2 teaspoons vanilla

3- Add half dry ingredients to the wet mix till smooth and add the balance and mix. Fold chopped nuts in.
1 Cup chopped nuts ( we use pecans )

4- Pour into 9X9 or 13X7 pan or baking dish and place on top rack in 350 degree oven. Check at 20 min. with a toothpick. Once done remove from oven and let sit for 10 min. before cutting. It would be a sin not to put some ice cream on yours.
