Ingredients

3 oz. Philly Cream Cheese
½ cup butter
½ cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
dash salt
1 cup flour
crushed Wheaties or Corn Flakes for coating = ½ cup
Maraschino Cherries

Instructions

Cream the cream cheese and butter and sugar together, then add the vanilla, baking powder and salt. Gradually add one cup flour. Mix well and chill. Crush Wheaties or Corn Flakes. Drop dough in balls on flakes and press indentation in center to place cherry. Add pieces of Maraschino cherries and bake on an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven about 12 - 15 min and remove as soon as baked. Cool.
