Ingredients

1 pkg oatmeal cookie mix
1 stick butter, softened
1/4 cup pumpkin butter*
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
1/2 cup oats
frosting:
1 block cream cheese, softened
1 box 10x confectioners sugar
2 tbsp pumpkin puree*
*if not available you may substitue pumpkin puree with additional 1 Tbsp sugar (for cookie only) frosting will be ok with puree substituted

Instructions

mix all ingredients in a bowl, starting with softened butter and adding cookie mix, spices, oats and 1 Tbsp. water. Mix until a ball will form, it will be sticky. Drop by teaspon on UNgreased cookie sheet, space about 2 in apart. Bake at 375 degrees for about 10-12 min. cookies will be soft when they come out. Cool in pan for 1 min until they come off with a spatula. Cool on a wire rack. Then in a mixing bowl beat cream cheese and pumpkin (butter or puree) and add confectioners suger. Frost cookies when they are completely cooled. Top each cookie with a candy pumpkin or candy corn. Enjoy!
