Simply Delectable peach pieUser Submitted Recipe
10 inch Glass pan
4 cups flour
2 tsp salt
1-1/2 cups Crisco
1-1/2 cups warm water
2 cups sugar
1/2 stick butter
2 tsp cinnamon
Combine all the ingredients to make dough in a bowl. Crisco the pan up to get well greased.
Put 2 sheets of tin foil on counter and roll out baseball size of dough into circle (only half of dough for bottom.)
When rolled out take tin foil with dough and flip over the pan and the cut off extra edge pieces to form nice bottom crust. Take a quarter sized hole about 5 times to the top and cut out 5 circles for air (to the top crust). Do same process for top of pie.
Then combine all the ingredients for the pie filling and put into center of the pie (also throw in a dash of flour into pie filling.)
Put top of pie crust on.
When pie crust is on top of pie, seal BOTH crusts.
Then bake for 1 hour or until crust is done on bottom golden brown (look on bottom of glass dish to check crust)
