Crispy Nut N' Oatmeal CookiesUser Submitted Recipe
2 1/2 cups old fashion oatmeal
1 tsp baking soda
1 cup nuts
1 cup dark brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 cup margerine
1 tbsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp almond extract.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In large bowl combine flour, oats, nuts and baking soda = mix well.
In separate bowl add sugars, egg oleo, cinnamon and extract. Mix with mixer until fluffy. Add to flour/oats half at a time.
Using a tablespoon, place cookie dough on a non stick cookie sheet and bake for 7 to 8 minutes or until brown.
Let cool on sheet for 3 minutes and place on cookie rack until throughly cooled. YUM
