Jalapeno-Lime Sorbet

This sizzling sorbet may seem a bit intimidating, but for those who aren't afraid to take a leap of faith, the heat just dissipates into nothing but pure pleasure!"


2-3 jalapeno peppers, split and seeded (unless you prefer a hotter flavor)
½ cup fresh lime juice
1 cup granulated white sugar
1 cup water
½ cup corn syrup


Make sure your ice cream/sorbet machine's freezer bowl is completely frozen
Combine water, sugar and corn syrup in a small sauce pan,
then steep the jalapenos for about four minutes
add the lime juice after the mixture cools somewhat,
then, place in freezer for about 20 minutes
another 20 minutes in your machine to finish your jalapeno-lime sorbet
