Caramel Damson Pie

“ A simple preserve pie"

Ingredients

1 cup damson preserves
1/2 cup half and half
1/2 cup sugar
4 tbls flour
2 large eggs
1/4 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla


Instructions

Cream butter; add sugar and preserves.
Beat in eggs, flour, half and half, and vanilla.
Pour into unbaked pie shell.
Bake at 400 for 10 minutes. Reduce to 350 and bake for 55 minutes on lower shelf, then 5 more on top shelf (or until set).
