“
A delicious buttery sour cream pound cake that melts in your mouth"
Ingredients
1 lb. sw. butter.
4 egg yolks
1 c. sour cream
1 3/4 c sugar
1/2t. soda
3c. cake flour
2t. bak. powder
1 1/2t. vanilla
1/8t. salt
4 egg whites beaten stiff
Instructions
Grease and flour 12 c. ring mold. Cream butter well, add sugar, vanilla, yolks, sour cream. Beat well. Sift dry ingred. together. Add slowly to butter mixture. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into pan and bake 50min. at 350 degrees. Remove pan from oven and set wet towel for 10 min. Loosen sides gently, invert on cake plate. Dust with confectioners sugar
