Chocolate Turtles
INGREDIENTS
150-pecan halves(about 3cups)
50- caramels
16oz.-semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 300*
On greased baking sheets, arrange the pecan halves in groups of 3,flat side down,in Y shapes. Place a caramel on each cluster.Place in oven until the caramels soften, 5 to 8 min.
Remove from oven and flatten the caramels over the pecans with a buttered spoon. Cool slightly.
Melt the chocolate in the top of a double boiler over simmering water. Dip the turtles into the chocolate and cool on wax paper. Store in tightly covered containers in a cool place.
