Apple Cobbler Breakfast Casserole

A Delicious Breakfast or Brunch Casserole for young or old. My family loves it on Holiday mornings. You can make it the night before and bake it on the big day. "


1 lb. Bulk Sausage - Cooked and Drained
10 Slices Bread - Torn in Pieces
6 Eggs
2 Cups Milk
1 Cup Packed Brown Sugar
1 Tsp Vanilla
1 Tsp Salt
1 Tsp Cinnamon
1 Peeled Chopped Granny Smith Apple
1 Cup Chopped Nuts


Cook the sausage and drain, set aside.
Beat the eggs, milk, brown sugar, vanilla, salt and cinnamon until well blended.
Place the torn bread in a 9" x 13" baking dish and fold in the chopped apple, chopped nuts and cooked sausage.
Pour the egg mixture over all.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until set and lightly browned.
