Breakfast Casserole

This Casserole is delicious I have served it at many family occasions and it has been a big hit at breakfast potlucks as well."

Ingredients

1 loaf white bread
2 sticks butter
1 lb Ham
4 Eggs
1 cup half and half
1 cup milk
salt and pepper to taste
4 cups cheese
1 pkg potato chips (crushed)
1 lb bacon


Instructions

In a 9x13 casserole dish place buttered bread (crust removed) on bottom of dish, butter the top and add 1 lb of ham slices. cover ham slices with another layer of bread buttered on both sides. Add 2 cups of cheese and egg(whisked together) by pouring over top of bread, ham, and cheese. Cover and place in refrigerator over night. In the morning pull out dish add crush potato chips over. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, in the mean time cook up 1 lb of bacon reserve. Pull casserole from oven and put crumbled bacon on top and the remaining 2 cups of cheese, put back in oven for 5 to 6 minutes until cheese is melted, remove and serve hot.
