Jack-o-Lantern Pancakes
User Submitted Recipe
“
I make pancakes almost every weekend for my family, sometimes with chocolate chips, sometimes without... For Halloween, my little one gets a kick out of it looking like a Jack-o-lantern. It's a cute, easy way to please. Plus, the pancake recipe is so easy and tastes way better than Bisquick."
Ingredients
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1 egg
2 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 to 1 cup semi sweet chocolate chip morsels
Instructions
Warm medium frying pan or griddle.
In a bowl, add the dry ingredients (Flour, baking powder and sugar) and mix, then add milk, oil and egg. Wisk until smooth.
Pour 1/4 to 1/2 cup pumpkin shape onto warmed pan or griddle (adding a little dribble for the stem.
Then place chocolate chips to resemble of Jack-o-lantern face.
Let cook until bubbles that appear in the batter begin to pop or until golden brown. Flip and cook the other side.
Serve as is, or with butter, syrup and/or powdered sugar.
