Fruit Melange (Glop in English)User Submitted Recipe
2 cups cantaloupe melon
2 cups honeydew melon
2 peeled kiwi
1 cup seedless grapes
1 cup hulled strawberries
1/2 cup dark- brown sugar (or use Stevia)
1 cup red wine (or 1 cup of apple juice)
1 cinnamon stick
Place all ingredients in a large pot, and bring to simmer. Stir from time to time so mix won't burn. Simmer until all fruits are soft---may take longer for melon that isn't quite ripe to reach this point. Add a little more liquid if necessary. Mixture will be thick. Let cool down so you can handle it. Pour mixture into Cuisinart food processor and pulse in batches until fruits are indistinguishable from each other. Serve warm on waffles, toasted English muffins; serve cold over ice cream, rice pudding. Or just eat a 1/2 cup when you want something warm and sweet on a cold day!
