This is a family passed down recipe that is very easy and quick to do. Perfect for breakfast with a cup of hot cocoa!"
Ingredients
1 pound all-purpose flour
1 1/4 stick of unsalted butter
3 tablespoons sugar
4 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
Milk for the dough
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift the flour, salt and baking powder together in a large bowl.
Add the sugar and butter and with a fork slowly press down on the butter sticks to combine evenly into a dough.
Knead the dough adding a bit of milk at a time until soft.
Scoop out balls of dough and place in greased baking sheets.
Place in the oven for 15 minutes.
