Mary's Foolproof Bread

Ingredients
total of 5 1/2-6c of flour total with oats etc [for wheat do at least 1/2 white flour or too dense]
2pkg yeast
1tbl salt + 1 tbl sugar
2 Tbl soft butter or margarine
2 1/4c Hot Water
Instructions
mix about 1/2 dry grains + flour
all other dry Ingredients
add soft butter
blend crumbly
add Hot water mix for a couple min add slowly another cup or so of dry flour until stretchy then add a bit more until ball leaves side of bowl
I turn into big bowl + cover with [sprayed] plastic wrap + then a cloth
let rest + rise [double] maybe 20-30 min
then punch + divide + put into sprayed pans [now is the time to roll in cinn. or fruit if making roll]
I brush w/olive oil
[you can slash top if want]
let rise double[maybe 30min]
then depends on your oven but about 375* 45-60min
