Pumpkin Bread

Oven Temp 350 degrees (pre-heat)"


3 cups of sugar
1 cup of Vegetable or Canola Oil
4 large eggs, beaten well
1 16 oz. can pumpkin (I prefer Libby’s)
3 cups of flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon allspice
1 teaspoon salt


In a large mixing bowl mix together the sugar, eggs, oil and pumpkin. In another bowl sift together all dry ingredients. Mix dry ingredients into wet ingredients until well blended. Pour into greased and floured loaf pans or bundt pan.

Bake for approximately 45 minutes or until an inserted knife comes out clean. Remove from pan and cool on wire rack.
