Wheat Bread for White Lovers

A wheat bread even white bread lovers can eat."


2 cups Wheat Flour
2-2.5 cups White Flour
2 tablespoons shortening
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
1 egg
2 packets yeast
1 1/4 cup milk


1. Heat Milk to 110 - 115 deg
2. Combined and mix the following
1 Egg
1 tsp Salt
2 Yeast Packets
1/4 Cup Sugar
2 tablespoons Shortening
2 cups Wheat Flour
3. Blend Milk and previously mixed ingredients together for 1 min and allow to rest for 3 min.
4. Mix remaining flour until mixture balls
5. Knead for 8 min. and ball
6. Place in greased bowl and allow dough to double.
7. Punch down dough and divide into two bread pans and allow to rise.
8. Cover with tinfoil and bake at 475 deg for 25-30 min.
9. Place on cooling rack for 20 min.
10. Eat and enjoy
