Beer Bread

Easy bread recipe that changes flavor based on the brand of beer used."


3 1/2 cups self-rising flour
1/3 cup sugar
1 egg, at room temperature
1 12oz beer, at room temperature


Pre-heat oven to 450 F. Combine all ingredients into mixing bowl and combine well. Mixture will be somewhat lumpy to smooth depending on how well one mixes the batter. Pour batter into a well greased pan or non-stick loaf pan. Bake for 60 minute or until the loaf sounds hollow when tapped. For variation, add 2/3 cup of dried vegetables of 1 cup shredded cheese.
