Quick Rise Beer Cheese Bread
User Submitted Recipe
“
This loaf is made with a bottle of natures yeast brew to leaven it up, giving it a unique and charming flavor. It’s moist and flavorful! "
Ingredients
3 Cups Self-rising Flour
1/2 Cup Sugar
12 Ounces Flavorful, Good Beer (I like to use Sam Smiths Nut Brown Ale)
2 Tablespoons Melted Butter
1/4 Cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees
Butter a loaf pan and set aside.
In the bowl of your mixer fitted with the dough hook, combine the flour, sugar, and beer and mix until the mixture is sticky.
Pour into the loaf pan and bake for 55 minutes. For the last 3 minutes of baking, remove the loaf from the oven, brush the top of the loaf with butter, and return to oven to get golden.
Serve warm with whipped butter and garnish with shredded cheddar cheese.
