Hot Artichoke Crab DipUser Submitted Recipe
2 cloves garlic minced
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 can (6 oz.) snow crabmeat, drained
2 cups creamy Alfredo sauce
1 can (14 oz.) artichoke hearts, drained and finely chopped
3 tbsp. chopped fresh flat-leaf Italian parsley
1/2 tsp. finely grated lemon zest
Pinch of crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
1 round loaf crusty Tuscan peasant bread, hollowed out
Crostini or crackers for serving
1. In a medium saucepan , lightly sautee garlic in olive oil. Add crabmeat, Alfredo sauce, and artichoke hearts. Simmer over low heat about 5 minutes or until heated through, stirring occasionally.
2. Add parsley, lemon zest, and red pepper flakes just before serving.
3. Spoon into hollowed-out loaf of Tuscan peasant bread and serve hot as a dip with crostini or crackers.
