Sausage and cheese baked wonton"


2 cups cooked crumbled hot Italian Sausage
1 1/2 Cups grated Sharp Cheddar Cheese
1 1/2 Cups grated Monterey Jack Cheese
1 can (2.25 oz.) Sliced black olives
1 Cup Buttermilk Ranch Dressing
1/2 cup fine chopped red pepper
1 package fresh or frozen Wonton Wrappers
Olive oil


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Blot sausage dry with paper towels and combine with cheese, dressing, olives and red pepper. Carefully press 1 wonton wrapper into each cup of a mini muffin pan. Brush very lightly with olive oil. Bake for 5 minutes or until golden brown. Remove wrappers from tins and place on baking sheet. Fill with sausage mixture. Bake 5 minutes or until bubbly. Makes 4 to 5 dozen mini appetizers. Filling and wonton shells can be made a few day in advance and then assembled and baked when ready to be serve
