3/4 cup pitted Kalamata and/or green olives
2 garlic cloves, halved
1/4 cup olive oil
1 teaspoon minced fresh parsley
1 loaf French baguette
Shredded mozzarella cheese
Minced fresh chives
Process olives and garlic in a food processor until combined. With motor running, slowly drizzle in oil and process until smooth. Stir in parsley.
Slice bread into 1/4-in. slices. Toast under broiler. Spread with olive mixture; sprinkle with cheese and chives. Broil until cheese is melted.
