Kyle's Favorite Fruit Salsa
User Submitted RecipeA refreshing fruit salsa served with cinnamon pita chips
“
This is a delicious, sweet and light salsa that my husband loves. He can eat an entire batch all by himself. If you do not have a food processor, I have made it by hand many times. The only difference is it takes more time with all the chopping. This is also delicious over pancakes/waffles in the morning."
Ingredients
1 apple (Granny Smith or other firm variation)
1 pear (Any kind)
1/2 pint fresh blueberries
1/2 pint fresh raspberries
1 pint fresh strawberries
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 bag of cinnamon sugar pita chips
Instructions
1.) Core and quarter the apple and pear.
2.) Remove leaves from strawberries
3.) Place all fruit and sugar in a food processor and pulse a few times (fewer for a chunky salsa and more times for a thinner salsa)
4.) Chill for up to one day
5.) Serve with cinnamon sugar pita chips
