Easy Asian Wings
3 pounds chicken wings
1 cup soy sauce
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup ketchup
2 teaspoons fresh ginger - minced
2 cloves garlic minced
1/4 cup dry sherry
1/2 cup hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1/2 tsp of your favorite Hot Sauce (optional)
Broil the chicken winds 10 minutes on each side or until browned. Transfer the chicken wings to the crockpot. Add the remaining ingredients, stir thoroughly. cover; cook on LOW 5-6 hours or on HIGH for 2-3 hours. Stir periodically during cooking baste the wings with sauce. I serve them right in the crockpot.
