Hummus Dip - 24 Servings

Dip and vegetable platter
A healthy dip with veggies,I call it football dip and none of the manly men know it good for them and they munch and yell for the team!"


2 (15oz.) cans garbanzo beans,
1/2 cup tahini
1 teaspoon grated lemon zest, minced
2 cloves garlic
1 lemon
salt to taste
ground black pepper to taste
smoked paprika

veggies to serve with dip:
1 red bell pepper
1 green bell pepper
1 yellow bell pepper
1 cucumber
celery stalks
carrot sticks
green onions
grape tomatoes


This is so easy. just drain the chickpeas very well.

now is the fun part into your Cuisinart food processor you just want to get it started a bit

add the tahini.

now juice the lemon
and get your lemon zest
add the zest to the hummus.
and press the on button.

stream the lemon juice in. stop and taste. add salt and pepper. start again and stop and taste.

do this until it is perfect.

put into a dip dish and sprinkle the paprika

cut the veggies into nice sticks. place the dip in middle and the veggies around it.
