Buffalo Chicken Dip

This is the best dip, every time I take it anywhere everyone wants the recipe. You also can put all ingredients into a crock pot, it tastes just as good all mixed up."


1 8oz brick cream cheese, softened
1 lg can chicken, shredded, or 2 diced chicken breasts
1 onion diced, if desired
1/3 to 1/2 cup Frank's hot sauce
1/3 to 1/2 cup prepared ranch
2 cups shredded cheddar or colby/jack cheese


spread softened cream cheese in the bottom of oven safe shallow casserole dish, layer chicken and onions if using, then hot sauce and ranch dressing, top with shredded cheese and bake 20-25 minutes until hot and bubbly. Serve with celery sticks, tortilla chips or crackers.
