Lebanese dish


1 1/2 lbs of steak tartar
2 cups of bulgar wheat soaked in cold water for 1 hr
2 tbsp of each - cumin, ground oregano, paprika, cinnamon
2 green bell pepper
1 large yellow onion
3 bunches of mint


soak wheat
using cuisinart blade chop up bell pepper, onion, and mint.
put together all spices
mix with hands the meat, vegetables and spices. Slowly add 1 to 2 cups of wheat.
Put in a oiled pan - pat down to about 1 1/2 inches - pour about 4 tb of oil on top.
Bake slowly at 350 for 1 and half hour. Cool - cut into squares serve at room temperature..Excellent - its my Mother's version of a lebanese dish that we also serve raw....with olive oil and syrian bread and black olives!
