Kasia's Easy Organic Asian Plum Salad

Try this healthy organic treat for summer! A mixture of spinach and romaine lettuce with walnuts, plums, asian pears (which have the texture of an apple crossed with a pear) and ginger plum dressing"


1 Head of Romaine Lettuce (organic)
1 Bag of spinach leaves (organic & pre-washed)
1 cup of walnuts
5 plums (semi ripe)
3 asian pears
1 bottle of Simply Delicious brand 100% Organic Ginger Plum Dressing (pour to taste)or alternate ginger and/or fruity dressing if not available
1 large salad bowl, 2 small condiment bowls, tongs for mixing, 1 good knife
1 mini food prep(optional)


Wash, cut and mix romaine lettuce leaves and spinach leaves in a large salad bowl. Add walnuts to salad (you may want to chop them up a little first with a knife or a food prep if whole pieces). Slice plums into smaller pieces (skin on) and put them into first smaller bowl. Wash & chop Asian pears into smaller pieces (skin on) and add to second bowl. Then empty bowl of plums and pears into large salad bowl and mix/toss. Then add dressing to taste and refrigerate until ready to serve.
