Tomatillo Salsa
User Submitted Recipe
“
Fresh and Tangy!"
Ingredients
2- 12oz cans Tomatillos
1 1/2 cups chopped cilantro
4 fresh jalapeños seeded de-veined and chopped
1-2 teaspoons salt
3 fresh garlic cloves
1 med. size sweet onion finely chopped
Instructions
In a Cuisinart food processor, Process all ingredients except for 1/2 cup of the cilantro and the onion, including the liquid from one can of the tomatillos, drain the other. Process until smooth.
Chop the onion very fine. Rough chop the remaining cilantro. Add cilantro and onion to salsa. Great with just chips or on chicken tacos, fajitas, etc. (if you like it hot, don't seed and de-vein the peppers.) you may need to adjust the salt to your taste, more or less.
