Meat pies

Makes a lot and is good for a big party"

Ingredients

Dough:
3 cups flour
1 cup water
1/2 tsp salt

Filling:
1 pound ground beef
2 oz. beef suet or oil
1/8 tsp all spice
1/8 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp cinnamon
4 tbsp oil
1, 6oz. can tomato paste
1 tsp chopped parsley
3 small onions,chopped
5 tbsp lemon juice
1 cup coarsely chopped walnuts


Instructions

Dough:
Add ingredients together and knead until smooth. Chill until ready to use.
Filling:
Combine all ingredients and mix well.
Roll out dough until very thin. Cut dough into 1 1/2 inch circles. Place 1 tsp filling on each circle. Fold in half and seal edge with a fork.
You can fry these or bake them at 350° until brown. They can be frozen and baked when needed.
